Clean-up Drive and Wearing of P.E. Uniform for Dengue Mitigation

With the onset of the rainy season, dengue cases are on the rise. To prevent students from acquiring the disease, MSHS Principal Ms. Maria Eva S. Nacion made the announcement advising MaSci students to wear their PE uniform to school until further notice. This is to reduce the students' exposure to mosquitoes.

Furthermore, students are encouraged to regularly use mosquito-repellants to protect themselves from being infected through mosquito bites. Parents and students should take extra precautions to prevent the spread of dengue. Fever, headaches, muscle and joint pains, fatigue, nausea and skin rashes are symptoms related with dengue. These symptoms should prompt the affected person to seek medical help immediately.

On Monday morning July 11, 2016, there will be a clean-up drive to remove possible breeding grounds for mosquitoes within the MaSci campus. Everyone is encouraged to help out in this campaign.
